After leaving university with B.Sc and Ph.D degrees, Maurice worked as a development chemist with Unilever before transferring into marketing becoming Senior Brand Manager. He then worked in advertising with McCann Erickson in London for 9 years, latterly as main board director. Maurice returned to Scotland in 1976 working in senior positions in tourism with Tayside Regional Council and the Highlands & Islands Development Board. He later held senior management positions with Highlands & Islands Enterprise before joining ICASS when the service was introduced in 1999.
Maurice covers the following areas: Caithness & Sutherland, Inverness & East Highlands, Lochaber, Moray, Orkney, Shetland, Skye & Wester Ross, Western Isles.
