Brian Nugent has a varied career experience in several sectors. He has worked in Scotland and abroad, initially in the photographic industry, marketing the products of major US, German and Japanese corporations. This was followed in Scotland by flagship department store marketing in all product categories. Qualifications in Marketing and Management were obtained in mid-career. Brian also ran two different businesses, one from the idea stage-developing new products and marketing them across the UK.

Public Sector experience includes successfully advising start-up and established businesses. A lifelong interest in innovation explains his commitment to the ICASS programme. Brian covers Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire and Argyllshire.
